ScoriGame (“ScoriGame”, “we”, “us”) is a free game for predicting FIFA World Cup 2026 match results and competing with friends in private pools. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
The short version: we do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Information we collect
- Account information — your email address, display name, and phone number. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account’s name, email address, and profile picture.
- Preferences — your chosen language.
- Game activity — the pools you create or join, your match predictions, your scores and standings, and payment-status flags that your pool organizer sets manually.
- Essential technical data — cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and to remember your language. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
How we use your information
- Create and secure your account and sign you in.
- Operate the prediction pools — record your predictions, calculate scores, and show leaderboards and standings.
- Show your display name and predictions to other members of the pools you join. This is how the game works; predictions become visible according to each pool’s rules.
- Send essential service messages, such as email confirmation and password resets.
How we share information
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own purposes. Your data is only stored and processed by the infrastructure providers we use to run ScoriGame:
- Our database, authentication, and hosting providers, which process data solely to operate the service on our behalf.
- Google, only if you choose to sign in with Google.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of ScoriGame and its users.
SMS & WhatsApp messaging
If you opt in, we use your phone number to send you SMS and WhatsApp messages — login and two-factor authentication codes, and game updates such as standings, results, and prediction deadlines. Opting in is optional, and you can opt out at any time by replying STOP or by disabling notifications in your settings. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your messaging opt-in with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. See our messaging terms for more detail.
Your choices and rights
- You can view and update your profile and language at any time in your account settings.
- You can request access to, or deletion of, your account and personal data by emailing marcelocouto@gmail.com. We will delete your account and associated personal data, except where we must keep certain records to comply with the law.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal data as described above.
Security
We rely on industry-standard security measures provided by our infrastructure providers to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
ScoriGame is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes will be communicated through the service.
